So let me tell you something about pressure. Last fall, my other mom (I have a lot of close friends that I consider brothers, and their mothers are my other moms) approaches me and my brother with an opportunity to display our work (he's a pgotographer). Of course we jumped at the chance and we had big plans to display intricate collaborations that blah blah blah... Bottom line we planned to do a lot. But time flew, schedules were busy and before we knew it it was mid January and I didnt have any pieces made specifically for the show.
Because my schedule is so hectic I can ususally manage to create one page per week but with a little creative thinking and a whole lot of late nights I cranked out four pages of drawn pages for a six-page project that is now on display at the Englewood Public Library. F4Media x A Grassfed Comic present "Chapters Captured". If you like what you see here and enjoy great photography please stop by and check us out!
The above is part of that six-page project. Two stories that will play out at the same time over the course of three weeks. Rollover your mouse or click on mobile to see the first page of "Nightmare" and come back to see how both these stories progress!
And lastly, I have to shout out my nephew Sior Griffin-Holmes for his assist on Nightmare page 1. This kid does sports, colors comics, he's smart and better with phone technology than his daddy. The future is here.
